Why spay and neuter?
-
Lowers The Risk of Cancer
Spaying pets eliminates the possibility of uterine or ovarian cancer and greatly reduces the incidence of breast cancer.
-
Stops Pet Over Population
Helping us to end overpopulation will help us decrease the number of euthanized unwanted animals each year.
-
Reduces Aggression
The benefits of spay and neuter include the reduction or elimination of unwanted behaviors.
-
Increases Pets Lifespan
Neutered male dogs lived 18% longer and spayed female dogs lived 23% longer.
-
Decreases Roaming In Pets
Reduces their breeding instinct, resulting in less roaming and fewer urine-marking behaviors.
-
Reduces Spraying and Marking
Neutering changes the odor of the urine and may reduce the cat's motivation for spraying.
